Porsche Boxster Spyder is the best handling car in America

Porsche Boxster Spyder has been awarded the title of the best-handling car in America by the well known US car specialist magazine “Car and Driver”. This title came as a result of a test including other six high class cars and was decided by a team of experienced car testers. The main characteristics that made the Porsche Boxster Spyder a winner were the great balance of the chassis, the precision of the steering and the predictability of the car’s behavior when driven to the limit.

Obviously, it may seem surprising for an open top car to be chosen as a best handling car, but it seems that Porsche found the solution to balance the chassis tuning and weight distribution in such a manner to make the Boxster Spyder a leader in terms of maneuverability. Having a 320 HP engine at the heart of the car, the Porsche Boxster Spyder can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds with an average fuel consumption of 9.3 litres / 100 km (30 mpg).

With a great look, and some design elements that might remind you of a Porsche Carrera GT, and now with an award to prove its driving qualities, the Porsche Boxster Spyder is a strong candidate in the sport convertible cars segment.
