Porsche 918 Spyder enters series production

Earlier this year Porsche revealed the 918 spyder Concept Study, a high performance sports car with plug in hybrid technology. Both the general public and customers showed a high interest in this vehicle.
Porsche 918 Spyder could have a fuel consumption of just 3 litres for 100 km or 94.1 mpg, but still preserving the performance of a super car.
Porsche finally took the final decision: the 918 Spyder is entering production. The new 918 Spyder is going to be developed in Germany at Weissach while assembly of the car will take place in Zuffenhausen.
