Volvo managed to make the new V60 a dynamic car, fitting the modern trend of a sport wagon, which is simply no longer a car with more loading space. Volvo seems to have focused on the dynamic, sporty features of the car. But this is only a initial presumption, since if you go behind appearances, you’ll discover a lot of care and attention given to the safety related to the V60.

Volvo has done a good job in imprinting the new V60 with a dynamic character. But even if the maneuverability of the car is at high standards, braking the car efficiently is another important feature that contributes to a car’s sportiness as well as its safety.
According to Volvo, V60 has a system that can predict soft braking situations and start applying the brakes before the driver does. Their Ready Alert Brakes system gently applies the brakes when such a situation is detected. When the driver presses the pedal, the braking is more efficient. This also saves time if, for example, you are forced to shift from accelerating to braking quickly.

Here are the first official photos of the new Volvo S 60. The first observation that can be made is that the car looks a lot like the concept revealed some time ago. And this is a good thing since the concept itself was good looking. In fact many designs of various car makers look great when they are still in the concept phase, but when they come into production the resemblance with the original is vague.
